About:
Though still emerging, the entrepreneurial ecosystem in St. Petersburg is nevertheless building capacity and beginning to see results. With its pedestrian-scale, walkable, and amenity-rich downtown, St. Petersburg is fast becoming the nexus of Tampa Bay’s entrepreneurial economy. Taking the next steps in this evolution will require increasing the availability of capital, expanding entrepreneurial networks and aware-ness, and providing additional programs and facilities to launch, scale, and sustain startup enterprises.
Workgroup Priorities:
- Priority 1: Mapping the entrepreneurial ecosystem of St. Pete
- Priority 2: Develop agreed upon measurement of entrepreneurial activity in St. Pete
- Priority 3: Benchmarking with other cities (for benchmarking trip in 2020)
